A Memorable Family Holiday in Vietnam – October 2025

Along with Daughter Shonali, her husband Bipin and their children Annettee and Joshua, we visited Vieatnam 17th to 24th October 2025. It was a wonderful holiday with family. Cost wise Vieatnam is a reasonable country. Of Course, it has quite a history. The museum and various archeological sites are very interesting. The people are simple. English not spoken widely. For the tourists there are a verity of places to visit.
Some places i may mention. Hanoi, here it was the temple of literature and the Vieatnam Military History Museum. Being Saturday the evening was very lively with the streets full of tourists. Particular mention is made of Beer Street and Train Street.
On 19th we moved to Ha Long Bay there we took the Venus Cruise the Mothership was like a 7-start hotel. Visited Bright Cave (Water Tunnel) by bamboo boat. The Bamboo boat was rode middle aged lady.
On 20th Morning we returned to Ha Long and visited Sun World Park and then Ha Long Museum. Evening we flew to Da Nang at Grand Gold Hotel which is Bang on the Beach. There was a very strong sea breeze.
On 21st we visited Bana Hill. The Cable Car Rope Way over many hills for 30 minutes to Hilltop. We went around the Sun World Complex, it’s various locations – Lunar Castle, Eclipse Plaza, Golden Bridge, French Village and spent quite some time at the Amusement Park. Return cable car ride was for 25 minutes.
On 22nd October, we came to Hoi An. Stayed at Coco River Resort.
23rd evening returned to Delhi by 11PM.
